This is my mood board for my R&B music magazine. I took all of these photos myself. I chose the location with a background of a brick wall as I thought it would give the photo-shoot an urban feel. I changed it up a bit by trying a wooden background but I didn't think it was as effective and edgy as the brick wall. Also the model stands out better in front of the brick wall. I stuck to my plan of the style of the costume using chunky heels, skinny black hot pants, a crop top and a snapback/beanie. I changed up the position of the model to get different angles to see which looks best, as I didn't want the photo to look flat (up against the wall). I also changed the zoom of the photo, capturing wide shots (full body) and mid shots.
